Admittedly this blog has evolved a bit from just trying to uncover “blatant disguises”. It has two main categories:

Un-Varnished!: Posts following the main gist of the blog, to peer beneath the surface layers to the heart of issues and lay bare the untruths and half-truths or uncover the hidden truth; to strip the dressing off and make the essence of issues incisively prominent.

Miscellaneous: All the other non-serious/maybe serious stuff that doesn’t/might not make sense and doesn’t fit the main theme of this blog, goes here.

*Cough cough*. You know how everyday we hear and see people trying to package things and pass off something bad as something good? It happens all the time in the media, in the government, on TV… wherever. Everyone does it; yours truly is guilty of that sometimes and don’t tell me you haven’t you hypocritical… scum of a… *mumbles to self*. Well – sometimes, it works. It looks good. Sometimes, it just doesn’t. So here we have an analogy of what is plainly bad trying to masquerade as something good, or what someone thought was good - a blatant disguise.

Here at blatantdisguise.wordpress.com, yours truly will give his personal, no-holds-barred, sardonic, sarcastic, sar… well. Sar… dines. Canned sardines. You know, the type you take from the shelf/refrigerator, take one good look at then decide whether to eat it or eat it then puke. What I really mean is, I’ll give you my take on (some random issue), uncovering the silliness of it all which someone thought he or she could hide, then you decide whether you like it or not and have your say on the issue – just leave a comment. These posts are under the category “Un-varnished!”.

I quite like sardines, actually. Bones and all. Yeah the whole muck of a slosh of fish-(and bone)-like material. I mean, of course I cook it first so at least it’s -a little- appealing! But no, really, sardines are good for you. Not bad at all. The reverse analogy, I guess; something good that comes across as something really awful. *hint*

Of course, this being a blog, there’ll be some snippets of my cynical self as I go about life, under the category “Miscellaneous”.
